Executive Director & Board of Commissioners (Click any name to send E-Mail) Paula Schnepp, Executive Director – Paula joined the SHA in July of 2008 as Executive Director and is responsible for the operation of all SHA-owned locations as well as the administration of all rental vouchers which are utilized at privately-owned rental properties. She was previously employed as the Executive Director of the Community Health Center of Cape Cod where she oversaw a period of tremendous growth resulting in an operating budget which grew from $100,000 to $3.5 million. As part of this growth, she also supervised a three year development process to acquire, permit and build a state of the art medical facility in Mashpee – on time and on budget. Paula is also an elected Commissioner for the Barnstable Housing Authority and an appointed member of the Community Preservation Act Review Committee for the Town of Barnstable. Robert F. Simmons, Jr., Chairman – Bob has been an elected SHA Commissioner since May of 2005, and is also a former Chairman of the Sandwich School Committee. He is currently employed as the Director of Finance and Technology for A.D. Makepeace Company, the world's largest cranberry producer, and the largest private landowner in Eastern Massachusetts. Makepeace is currently working on residential, commercial, and retail real estate developments in the Plymouth, Wareham and Carver areas. Prior to A.D. Makepeace, Bob was Chief Financial Officer of MB Management Company, a real estate firm which developed, owned and/or managed approximately 5,000 units of affordable and market-rate residential housing across the United States. Richard Johnson, Vice Chairman – Dick has been an elected SHA Commissioner since 2006 and is the former Mayor of the City of Taunton, as well as the City Manager of Lowell Massachusetts and the Executive Director of the Taunton Housing Authority. He is also a former member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency as well as President of the Massachusetts Chapter of National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials. Dick is currently employed by Utility Service Company Inc. and specializes in the development and operation of municipal water and waste water systems throughout New England. Daniel DiGiandomenico, Treasurer – Dan has been an elected SHA Commissioner since 2005 and has also been a member of the Sandwich Economic Development Committee. He is a former Revenue Officer and Group Manager with the Internal Revenue Service and is currently employed as a sales agent with the Sandwich office of Jack Conway & Company. Don Dickinson, Governor's Appointee - Don was appointed as the Governor's representative in March of 2010. Don has extensive affordable housing experience including the development of Shawme Heights Apartments in Sandwich and as President of the Cape Cod chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Peter Beauchemin, Commissioner - Peter has been an elected SHA Commissioner since May of 2010. He is a former member of the Sandwich Fire Department and an experienced General Contractor. |
